Beau Shupe – Assistant Professional
Beau’s passion for tennis began at the age of seven, when a coach noticed his potential during a group lesson and encouraged his parents to keep both of their sons in the sport. That early encouragement sparked a journey that led Beau to train year-round at several elite academies in Florida, including the renowned Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy, where he had the opportunity to hit with professional players such as Petr Korda, Tommy Haas, and Mary Pierce. He went on to compete at the collegiate level, playing for both the University of Louisville and the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Following his college career, Beau held several leadership roles in tennis instruction, including Director of Junior Programs at TCU, Head Tennis Professional at Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth, and Director of Tennis at 7Hills Swim & Tennis Club in Nashville, Tennessee. These experiences helped Beau develop strong leadership and team-building skills, which he now brings to Hollytree. He is passionate about working with players of all ages and abilities, with a special focus on junior development. Known for his disciplined, fundamentals-based coaching style, Beau emphasizes hard work and a strong foundation as the key to long-term success. He has coached players who have gone on to compete at the state, national, and collegiate levels. Off the court, Beau is equally passionate about health, diet, and fitness—and when time allows, he enjoys playing guitar.

Since then, she has competed in several local tournaments and brought home a few wins. While she still enjoys tennis, pickleball has quickly become her favorite. Claire loves the fast pace, strategic gameplay, and the opportunity to stay aggressive and experiment with new shots. For her, it’s the perfect mix of fun, competition, and community. With a professional background in education, marketing, and project management, Claire brings a unique set of skills to Hollytree. She’s passionate about organizing well-run clinics and engaging events—and she’s excited to help grow the racquet sports community.
